The software solutions of the Metrologic Group are available in a customized version for WENZEL coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and mobile measuring arms. The focus is on universality, performance and point cloud inspection.
The goal of the strategic partnership is to offer customers of WENZEL software solutions that are suitable for their measuring machines and based on the shared technical expertise with Metrologic Group. WENZEL CMMs and mobile measuring arms can now take full advantage of Metrolog X4, Silma X4 as well as the dedicated solution for portable measuring arms, Metrolog EVO. For WENZEL customers and end users, this means advanced 3D measurement capabilities, a proven point cloud module, robust offline programming and simulation tools, fast measurement cycles and renowned technical support to get the most out of the WENZEL measurement system and streamline the 3D inspection process.
WENZEL Customers who wish to upgrade their software to Metrolog X4, Silma X4 or Metrolog EVO can do so directly with a WENZEL controller, WPC, or with the Metrologic Group Controller, ME5011. Whether on WENZEL CMMs or measuring arms, both classic tactile probes and optical laser line sensors are already supported in the X4 software platform.
WENZEL now offers the measurement software PolyWorks of InnovMetric Software Inc. worldwide. This is used in conjunction with the proven WENZEL coordinate measuring machines for the measuring room and production as well as the mobile 7-axis measuring arm WM | MMA.
The new partner for the support of customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is @Duwe-3d AG. The company has been offering solutions for the three-dimensional capture, measurement, analysis and optimisation of products and processes since 1999 and is the exclusive sales partner for PolyWorks in the DACH region.
