View inside - 3D computed tomography

A look inside components of any kind - and metrology at a high-end level...

...that's what we show in today's video on the subject of industrial computed tomography. In our Shopfloor World, Christian Klostermann(Sales and Service Partner for NRW) presents three different CT systems.

The exaCT S tabletop unit; a small CT system with 130 [kV] accelerating voltage; for components with a size of 80 x 40 [mm].

The exaCT L floor standing unit; with 225 [kV] well suited for hybrid components (plastic-metal joints) and for aluminum components in a size range of up to 230 x 400 [mm].

The flagship of WENZEL, the exaCT U, with up to 300 [kV] acceleration voltage and component dimensions of 300 x 700 [mm].

Pallet measurements increase throughput for initial sampling and in-process series measurement tasks

500 parts and more per scan are possible here. In today's example, we also show a pallet measurement of 16 plastic plates. With the best 4K resolution, the entire scan takes only 25 minutes. The complete evaluation of all 16 parts with 22 features each was ready after only 360 seconds!
