Meet The Team - Angela Wifling

Welcome to the last episode of #TeamTuesday for 2022! Today we have Angela Wifling with us from the Administration Department. She has been with us for more than 20 years - yes, that's right. Let's get started with the interview.

Hello, I hope you are well Angela!

Hi, I am very well, thank you!

We're curious to know how and when you got started at WENZEL .

Well, my day of joining goes back to 2001, when I first started as a part-time employee in the sales department. Later, I moved to the retrofit department and then finally to the commercial department, which is now known as the administration department.

Well, that's quite a journey! Would you like to tell us something about your daily work in administration at WENZEL ?

Yes, of course! To sum it up - my day starts with the daily request for the provision of the WENZEL software either as a hardware dongle or as a soft dongle on our new machines, administration as well as processing of DEMOKEYS and SERVICEKEYS for our technicians, creation of customer orders for software or retrofits including the processing up to the invoicing of the customer order. This is a small insight into my day at WENZEL.

Those sound like very exciting tasks! Angela, what has kept you at WENZEL for 20 years?

When you stay with a company for such a large part of your professional life, it says a lot about that company. WENZEL gave me the chance to develop professionally after my parental leave and not only that - I had the opportunity to be successful in different departments. Not to forget that WENZEL stands for a healthy work-life balance, which is highly appreciated by every employee here.

It's always a pleasure to hear the answer to this question! To conclude the interview, we would like to ask you to give some advice to our young employees at WENZEL or those who want to become one.

In my more than 20 years of professional experience, I would just like to say that you should continue to have fun and enjoy the daily challenges at work. Keep learning and don't be afraid to ask for help.
