Continuing last week's #TeamTuesday, we'd like to introduce you to another gem from the assembly department - Rebecca Marak.
Hi Rebecca, nice to have you here with us today!
Hey! Thanks for the invitation!
We would like to start with a question. When did you start working at WENZEL ?
I first came here as an intern in the summer of 2016. I already knew then that I wanted to continue shaping my career here. I trained here as a precision mechanic because I was very interested in measuring machines.
What are your daily tasks at work?
So, after my apprenticeship, I moved to the assembly department - that was my goal. There, I assembled small assemblies of the LH, CORE and SF machine series. For half a year now, the complete assembly of the optical high-speed scanning system CORE has been part of my job.
What have you learned in your seven years at WENZEL that you will always remember?
An important phrase I've remembered is: don't be afraid of the work, just respect what you're doing (e.g., driving granite slabs weighing tons with a crane).
Rebecca, how do you like to spend your free time?
I go to the gym and love traveling the world with my boyfriend.
Do you have any plans for the future in terms of further education or study?
At some point I would like to make my "master" or "technician". But for now I would like to earn some money and see more of the world.
It was nice to have you with us today, Rebecca. Thank you and have a great day!
