Meet The Team - Rico Spahn

Welcome to another episode of #TeamTuesday at the WENZEL Group. May we introduce you to the man responsible for assembling our LH series CMMs at our headquarters - Rico Spahn. Without further ado, let's get started with the interview!

Hello Rico, how are you today?

I'm fine, as always!

What qualifications and training do you have as an LH Series installer?

In the past, I did an apprenticeship and a journeyman's examination in metal construction. This field of work has always fascinated me. Later, with time and experience, I took a master course in metal construction.

That's great to know! How do you describe your daily task at WENZEL?

Well, as my name suggests, I am responsible for the assembly and disassembly of the LH series from LH 65 to LH 2015. The dynamics and changeability of the series makes the work interesting and always keeps us on our toes.

We're curious - what keeps you busy at WENZEL ?

At WENZEL you get the perfect work-life balance. Work is always appreciated and valued here, and everyone treats everyone with the utmost respect, regardless of their position or age. What I really appreciate is that no one shies away from change and keeps up with new improvements and innovations. In this regard, I have found some great work at WENZEL . We regularly go hiking with our colleagues or occasionally plan a small barbecue and enjoy each other's company outside of work.

Very insightful! Would you like to share an important lesson for the new generation of WENZEL ?

Yes, you have to remember that training/internship/apprenticeship is no walk in the park. It won't always be easy or fun, but you have to be determined enough every day to work towards your goals. A good education will take you far in your career, so never lose focus!
