It measures up to 4x faster compared to tactile CMMs. For customers whose environmental conditions do not require an automated light shield (CORE S LP), WENZEL has developed the CORE S E (Essential), at a lower price and with a smaller footprint.

The CORE is based on the proven mechanical structure, which is developed and manufactured in WENZEL's renowned production facility in Germany. This forms the cornerstone for the accuracy, reliability and quality. With a scanning speed of up to 400 mm/s, the CORE delivers a time advantage of about factor 4 compared to tactile coordinate measuring machines.
Typical applications of CORE can be found in a wide variety of industries, for example in tool and mold making, prototype construction, the automotive industry, reverse engineering, and especially in medical technology and aviation. The CORE is used, for example, to measure turbine blades, joints, implants or vehicle parts.
