In its performance class, the exaCT U is one of the most compact industrial computed tomographs on the market. The CT system has five independent traversing axes and offers impressive resolution. Hardware and software offer the possibility of automated integration into the production line and provide the market-driven answer to Industry 4.0 issues. WENZEL was awarded the Frost & Sullivan Customer Value Leadership Award for the exaCT U computed tomograph.
Due to the intuitive user guidance, exact measurement results can be generated with the industrial CT after a short training period. Measurement parameters are automatically optimized by the CT system.
The industrial computed tomographs from WENZEL offer a simplified, cost-effective and fully automated workflow for the entire CT analysis process. With high performance combined with a large measurement volume, the exaCT U computed tomograph enables the measurement and inspection of large components with higher densities.

Industrial computed tomography (CT) is a non-destructive testing method that is now widely used in industry. This method uses X-rays to produce a digital 3D image of a component, analogous to known 3D X-ray systems. CT systems provide a detailed view of internal structures and allow the interior of objects to be analyzed without disassembling them.
Industrial computed tomography offers many advantages, especially for components that are difficult to analyze with other non-destructive testing (NDT) methods. CT systems make it possible to detect cracks, defects, irregularities or inhomogeneities in the material. This is particularly important as these types of defects can often lead to unexpected component failures.
Another advantage of industrial CTs is their ability to measure the dimensions and tolerances of a component with high precision. This makes it easier to detect and avoid errors in manufacturing.
The exaCT U series is universally applicable and can also scan large components with higher densities due to its high measuring volume. The computed tomographs are ideally suited for measuring and testing parts made of plastic, light metal, composite material or multi-materials.
The exaCT U 225 ensures short CT scans due to its fast detector.
With its high-resolution detector, the exaCT U 300 impresses above all with maximum detail recognition. With its 300 kV, it also penetrates denser materials.
