Product information

The XC65Dx(-LS) laser scanner with multiple laser function captures all 3D details of features, edges, pockets, ribs and freeform surfaces in a single scan. Thanks to the fully digital 3D digitisation, the number of scans per time unit (scan frequency) increases. The laser intensity is intelligently adjusted to each surface without manual intervention.

Features

  • Patented multi-strip laser technology captures the object from 3 directions
  • High-speed digital technology increases scanning frequency
  • Unique point-to-point adjustment of laser intensity
  • Laser scanning for easily deformable or fragile objects
  • Larger working distance for optimal pick-up of deep pockets and slotted holes as well as hard-to-reach
    features

Areas of application

The feature scanner is ideal for gap and flush measurements as well as for applications where a large distance to the component is generally required
.

  • Digital recording of bodyshells
  • Inspection of castings (e.g. engine blocks)
  • Scanning of plastic moulds and hollow bodies (e.g. fuel tanks) Automotive industry
  • Scanning from simple, geometric to complex features
  • Gap and flush testing of discs or mudguards
