Measuring solutions for the Czech market

PRAGUE, June 30, 2022. Today in Prague the contract for a shareholding of WENZEL in the company BRT servis s.r.o. was signed. This further consolidates the already 22-year partnership. From now on, the company will operate under the name WENZEL BRT s.r.o.

BRT was founded in April 2000 as a service organization offering metrology services to users of WENZEL coordinate measuring machines on the Czech market. During this time, the market share has been increased from one percent in 2000 to over twenty percent now. Among its customers are well-known corporations from various industrial sectors. In addition, BRT has developed into a specialist for professional design solutions, from machines to milling heads and manual modeling tools.

"The aim of the cooperation is to increase confidence in the products of the WENZEL brand and to further expand the position on the Czech market in machine sales and in the service business," explains Ing. Pavel Brachtl, Managing Director at BRT.

Dr. Heike Wenzel, Managing Partner of the WENZEL Group, is also pleased about the new form of cooperation: "The Czech Republic has many locational advantages, a qualified workforce, a good infrastructure and a strong mechanical engineering industry.
