Measuring machines from WENZEL at the AMB

Measuring solutions for the world of metalworking

Maximum measurement throughput and measurement flexibility with WENZEL coordinate measuring machines

WENZEL presents innovative measuring technologies for you at the AMB in Stuttgart from September 13 to 17, 2022 in Hall 7 / Booth A52. We offer you numerous solutions in the fields of coordinate and gear measuring technology, computer tomography and mobile measuring for the measuring room and the direct production environment. Our proven software products, first and foremost the measuring software WM | Quartis, enable the comfortable operation of our machines and increase the productivity of your production.

Ultra-fast 5-axismetrology
Renishaw 's REVO 5-axis measuring systems, combined with WENZEL LH series 3D coordinate measuring machines and user-friendly WM | QUARTIS measuring software, deliver unprecedented measuring speed and measurement flexibility, while maintaining the highest system accuracy. The stepless 5-axis positioning of the sensor ensures optimal access to features in all angular positions. The 5-axismetrology increases measurement throughput, reduces non-productive time and enables manufacturers to perform comprehensive quality evaluation of their products.
Using the Active Head function, fast scanning movements are performed by the head's stepless axes, while the machine axes perform slower movements. This ensures reliable results even with large extensions and, through the head touch function, fast single-point scanning.

Professional quality assurance for gears & co.
With the GT 300 we present the smallest gear measuring device of our GT series. The GT series offers the right solution for your measuring task, e.g. in the automotive industry, on toothed workpieces and shafts used, for example, in commercial vehicles, railway transmissions or construction and agricultural machinery, right up to the measurement of marine gears.
The GT 300 offers a measuring range of 300 mm in diameter for the fast and effective analysis of gears and rotationally symmetrical components. Due to its compact design and small footprint, the gear measuring machine can be easily integrated into existing processes. Optionally, the GT 300 can be equipped with a counter holder for measurements between centres and can thus measure shafts with lengths of up to 650 or 900 mm.

Industrial computed tomography: holistic volume measurement technology
We will also be showing our compact exaCT S desktop computed tomograph. This is the ideal solution for volume measurement of small components. It fits on any desk and offers the highest performance in the smallest space. The high resolution enables detailed evaluations even for the smallest components, ranging from micrometrology to micro material testing.
With our computer tomographs exaCT S, M, L and U, we now have a very wide range of products. The use of computed tomography in metrology is very much in vogue. We are seeing more and more application examples here and also a growing acceptance among users. This will further boost the market for industrial computed tomography.

Mobile measuring solutions as an optimal supplement
The mobile handheld 3D scanner WENZEL mScan is a very good supplement to our classic CMMs. It enables fast and reliable measurements with simple operation. The system enables location-independent and flexible measurement in the production and quality assurance process. The scanner can easily be used in demanding environments for complex components and is the ideal tool for reverse engineering and a wide range of industrial and medical applications.

VDMA Technology Forum: Digitalization in coordinate measuring technology
As a further highlight, Prof. Dr. Heiko Wenzel-Schinzer will be speaking on the topic of "Digitalization in coordinate measuring technology" at the VDMA Technology Forum (Hall 1, Booth B50) on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11:50 am.

The meeting place for the industry in the heart of Europe

Since 1982, AMB has presented the highlights of the international metalworking industry every two years. This is when the focus is on products, technologies, innovations, services and concepts for people who are passionate and passionate about metalworking. This makes it a marketplace, training and networking platform all in one. Whether visitor or exhibitor - over the years, AMB has become one of the most important dates in the industry calendar.
